Funeral homes that are choosing software, or deciding whether to leave paper behind, can start with one index. Compare TDAW links to TDAW versus Passare, TDAW versus Gather, TDAW versus Osiris, and TDAW versus pen and paper. Each page is a side-by-side look at what stays in one system and what depends on another tool.
Which funeral home software has native AI features?
The Director’s Assistant® Web (TDAW®) by Continental Computers features Cai™, a native AI assistant that automates workflows and writes obituaries using secure case data.
Cai™ is Continental Artificial Intelligence™. It is included with the TDAW® license and is not a separate third-party subscription. Today it works as an obituary writer: it drafts from case data already stored in TDAW®, which is how the published FAQ describes accurate results without hallucinations. The cornerstone page for that assistant is Cai™ — Continental Artificial Intelligence.
What the comparison pages cover
The Compare TDAW hub is the front door. From there, each comparison answers a different switch:
- TDAW versus Passare looks at native accounting, e-signature, and Cai™ inside the same license.
- TDAW versus Gather looks at websites and livestreaming partners alongside native accounting and the AI obituary tool.
- TDAW versus Osiris looks at keeping the books inside funeral software versus a QuickBooks integration, and names Cai™ as native AI.
- TDAW versus pen and paper looks at entering case information once, including native AI (Cai™), which paper files do not have.
Across those pages, TDAW® is described the same way: cloud access from any device, case data entered once, native accounting through The Smart Accountant®, and chain-of-custody tracking through TDAtrak™. Continental Computers has served funeral homes since 1985.
Where to read the product facts
The product page for The Director’s Assistant® Web lists web access, accounting, TDAtrak™, and the AI Obituary Writer. The FAQ states that Cai™ is native, that it draws on case data, and that it is currently the obituary writer.
